The Color RunTM prepares to colour Cape Town this October

Colour run Cape Town

If you think the Bo-Kaap’s colourful, just wait until you see Sea Point once the globally acclaimed The Color Run™ sweeps through. The mother of all paint races is heading to the Mother City in October, to give Capetonians the morning of their lives as they transform the Sea Point Promenade into a five kilometre canvas of vibrant colour. After touring four continents, The Color Run™ exploded onto the South African family fun-run scene with a sold-out Spring Day race in Port Elizabeth. Ten thousand Friendly City residents turned up on race day, dressed in white, eager to be part of a global phenomenon that over a million people worldwide have already experienced. And come Saturday, 19 October, Capetonians will have the chance

Accommodation

When accommodation turns into acommodation or even accomodation!

Ever wondered why people who make their money from the provision of accommodation facilities often cannot spell the word "accommodation " correctly? It is one of my pet hates. I mean get it right! It's like saying you make a living out of playing the sport called rubgy! One of the most glaring examples I have seen recently is a large sign as you enter into Victoria Road in Bantry Bay at the end of Sea Point. Check it out - or better still - point out any that you may see on your travels (photos most welcome). Two nights accommodation (or would it now be  acommodation or  accomodation?)  at 17 on Loader Guest House are up for grabs for the most interesting submission......!
