Muscle Mary’s brace yourselves for the first inner city Muscle Car Show. Think high-speed, V8 engines and pin-up girls revving up Heritage Square tomorrow, 18 August 2012. Organisers, Detroit Vintage Garage need no introduction if you were an A -Team fan and played with Hot Wheels, you would have spotted this joint. The show starts at 1pm and entry is free! Expect sexy souped up old cars, hot rods and motor bikes with luscious leather interiors, glitzy rims and gorgeous real-life pin-up girls, enough pimp to tantalising every Petrol Heads taste buds! Having already destroyed their opponents in the first two tests, this Saturday the Springboks are out to complete a series whitewash. The English, on the other hand, will be hoping to taste success against our green and gold warriors for the first time this tour. Nach gut einer Woche Aufenthalt im 17 on Loader Guest House, wo ich die nächsten Monate als Volunteer arbeiten werde, stand am Dienstag der erste Ausflug außerhalb Kapstadts an. Da eine Freundin von mir in Stellenbosch studiert, fiel es mir leicht, diese vielfach empfohlene Stadt als erste zu besuchen. Schon der Trip mit dem Zug entpuppte sich als echtes Abenteuer. Wann ein Zug abfährt, kann sich im 5-Minutentakt ändern – ebenso wie das dazugehörige Gleis. So verpasste ich auch direkt meinen Zug. Mich störte das nicht weiter; der Franzose hingegen, der auch nach Stellenbosch wollte und den ich bei der Gelegenheit kennenlernte, machte da schon einen wesentlich angefresseneren Eindruck. Er hatte
