Redelinghuys – Lavender Festival

Redelinghuys Lavender Festival 1 September 2012

For those that have travelled up the N7 towards Piketberg and swung a sho’t left on the R366 you would know exactly where this quaint little Sandveld town lies. Redelinghuys was originally part of the farm Wittedrift.  Sir George Napier handed it over on 31 December 1841 to a Mr. Hendrik Koetzee, who passed away in 1848. Thereafter a Mr. J.N.L.
