With its monthly Foreign Film Fridays, the Le Bonheur wine estate gives guests another reason to look forward to the week-end.   Rediscover the wonders of winemaking on April 20 with the 2007 American documentary, A State of Vine. The film, directed by Don Scioli, looks into the Californian wine industry with commentary from award-winning wine makers and experts from this region.   May 25 holds in a treat for fans of that Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe, when the 2001 film, Marilyn Monroe: The Final Days, will be screened. Written by Monica Bider and directed by Patty Ivins Specht, the documentary narrates the trivia

Olive Festival Fun at Allesverloren – Riebeek Valley

  On 7 and 8 May the end of a successful harvest in the Swartland will once again be celebrated with wine, food, music and the arts at the Riebeek Valley Olive Festival. Allesverloren, the oldest wine estate in this region, will be offering visitors to the festival more than enough, safe and free parking on the estate. It will also provide a complimentary shuttle service between the estate and Riebeek Kasteel. Not only will visitors be able to sample the estate’s renowned port and its selection of red wines, but they can also roam among food and specialist stalls, and taste and buy top wines such Tukulu, Theuniskraal, Le Bonheur and Org de Rac.
