Live Music at Bay Harbour Market: Larry Joe TONIGHT.

Larry was released from Douglas Correctional facility in the Northern Cape in dec 2010. He hails from Kimberley but now resides in  Muizenberg. Having been a drug user for 15 yrs and committed theft as a result of his habits he was on the run, living from hand to mouth. Seeing street buskers prompted him to hand himself to the authorities in 2008 and received a five and a half year sentence. He'd served half of his term by dec 2010 and was granted release  for good behaviour. While in prison Larry Joe was invited to perform at a prison function where he met Aron Turest-Swartz who was at that time percussionist with Freshly Ground and who had co-founded the band in 2002. Suitably impressed by Mr
