Cynical conspirators argue that the recession is just another lie from "the man", and in truth, traipsing through Cavendish Center in the middle of a weekday could get you thinking that perhaps they have a point. Having walked straight out of student-ville into an apparent recession, counting out five cent coins for airtime, or returning coke bottles in order to purchase my popcorn staple, is nothing unusual.
