Knowing they had a good thing going, the duo decided to grow, inviting equally talented musos, Henk Venter (providing bass) and Tiffany Cross (on percussion) to join Beloved in early 2012. Many of us have dabbled with a classical instrument, usually the piano or guitar, and usually pre-teenage years. Some of us may have even managed to master said instrument. What makes 23 year old Nicholas McCarthy remarkable is that he only took up piano at the age of 14, and that he only plays only with his left hand. Born without a right hand, Nicholas has risen above the odds to become a sought-after international concert pianist.
