The charming and historic town of Tulbagh is hosting their annual Spring Arts Festival presented by Drostdy Hof this weekend 24-26 August 2012. The festival celebrates the arts in many varied forms, coinciding with the blooming of the wild flowers of Spring which include several varieties of rare indigenous bulbs that only flower in the Tulbagh valley. It is bound to be a very colourful event!
Tulbagh is known as ‘the valley of abundance’ and the theme of this year’s Festival, ‘Abundance’ was born, it is a reminder of all that the valley has to offer! The fest promises a wide variety of events, from choral and classical musical performances to all types of visual art as well as a feature on land art with exciting outdoor installations. No to mention what Set in the beautiful town with excellent food and wine and spectacular mountain views.
