Dezire: Fashion Meets House Music at the Sugarhut Club

Another long weekend beckons, which means Cape Town's party set can go big and not have to suffer too badly the next week.

So after chilling on Freedom Day next Friday, 27 April, put on your dancing shoes and head to The Sugarhut Club for Dezire: Fashion Meets House Music, an exciting event blending hot house beats with even hotter models and live music.

After some top international house DJs visited Cape Town recently, house fans forget there is still plenty of local talent, keeping house music alive in the city and getting people dancing every weekend – which is why house fans should make the effort to support them, the organisers say.

The homegrown house talent includes DJs eSkay, Simple C, Jason Stoffberg, Ntokzino & Thibo Tazz.

But wait, that's not all. There are also live musicians Abubakr on vocals, Matt on drums & Yanick on guitar; while for your visual pleasure, beautiful models will showcase the designs of Gorejous, Joy Jewellery, Mitch Clothing & Indhi Designs.

It promises to be a night of great beats and great entertainment. And there's still two days to recover afterwards!
