One of our Team recently had the unfortunate experience of having two problems in a row with his iPhone : First it slipped ever so slowly into a yummy Casserole, and seconly, it was dropped, causing the screen to shatter. Oh woe is me! What to do? Well – iFix was there to assist – with wonderful service and cool results.
After successfully doing everything that needed doing, the very next day the following email was recieved from iFix:

I felt this story worthy of telling CapeTonians a little more about one of our very own success stories:
In 2006, iFix was born in a dorm room at the University of Stellenbosch (need I say more?- only the best Uni….) to ease iPod owners’ frustration at the lack of service available through traditional Apple repair channels. Satisfied friends soon referred numerous iPod owners in search of repairs and the first full-time technician was hired.
A Digital Shop in an Analog World
For two industrious years, iFix operated on a drop-off system at the legendary Mabu Vinyl record shop (www.mabuvinyl.co.za) in Cape Town. To satisfy demand in Gauteng, shops were opened in Johannesburg and Pretoria.
iFix opened its first Cape Town walk-in store in the Rheede Mall in Gardens to satisfy increasing demand. Shortly thereafter, a Pretoria walk-in store was opened at the Newlands Plaza shopping centre. iFix could now satisfy clients with immediate service and direct support.
By June / July 2010 16 iFix employees now fulfilled South Africa’s iPhone, iPod & iPad repair needs in the Western Cape and Gauteng. iFix repaired its 10,000th Apple device and in July iFix launched its integrated software department specialising in the most up-to-date iPhone & iPad software issues.
iFix Launched it’s fully integrated Mac Repair division in April making iFix able to service all aspects of the Apple Brand. Also in April iFix teamed up with Venture Capitalists www.Estag.de to assist in expansion of the iFix brand throughout South & Southern Africa. Estag provides necessary expertise and resources that will assist iFix in this growth process. In May iFix opened its Durban branch with 3 more branches planned for 2011 rollout! In July iFix Cape Town opened at its new location in Buitensingel street, Gardens providing an upmarket support experience for all of its clients.
